a booming season finale!

Saturday, may 11th

Carl Orffโ€™s choral-symphonic masterpiece, Carmina Burana, will be the booming season finale. The โ€œO Fortunaโ€ chorus is extremely well-known. Itโ€™s thundering symphonic-choral warning is used by countless filmmakers and advertisers - a quick Google search will jog your memory. But Orffโ€™s masterpiece is much more than its opening chorus! The work, based on 13th century medieval texts, serves as the guiding thread for three voice soloists, a full chorale and large orchestra.

A special message from maestro about our spring drive!

  • "Top notch, big city symphony in a small Montana town."

    -Alan Roy, Concert Attendee

  • "Fantastic symphony orchestra hosting friendly and inviting events! We attended our first Symphony performance last month since moving to Kalispell and tremendously enjoyed it. We highly recommend supporting this gem of an organization in our community."

    -Kyle Ziegler, Concert Attendee

  • "The wonderful Glacier Symphony and Chorale offers a year-round schedule of top-notch classical programing. The musical quality of their performances rivals what you would expect to see in a major city. Maestro John Zoltek brings world class skill and charisma to his role as conductor and music director."

    -Jennifer Li, Concert Attendee

  • โ€œWe were entirely speechless after seeing Ode to Joy, Handel's Messiah, and the Nutcracker. Your entire team did an outstanding job! Y'all are on par with symphonies from larger cities. We are so proud to call Kalispell (or in our case, Lakeside), home!โ€

    -Jacqueline Montoya, Concert Attendee
