now Celebrating our
41st Vibes and visions Season
a booming season finale!
Saturday, may 11th
Carl Orffโs choral-symphonic masterpiece, Carmina Burana, will be the booming season finale. The โO Fortunaโ chorus is extremely well-known. Itโs thundering symphonic-choral warning is used by countless filmmakers and advertisers - a quick Google search will jog your memory. But Orffโs masterpiece is much more than its opening chorus! The work, based on 13th century medieval texts, serves as the guiding thread for three voice soloists, a full chorale and large orchestra.
