Support the GSC

Home > Support the GSC

The Glacier Symphony and Chorale depends on a variety of sources of funding to stay in operations. Currently, our ticket sales cover only 26% of the cost of running the organization. We rely upon grants, corporate donors, fundraising events and private individual donations to produce the wonderful symphonic and chorale music of the GSC, along with the important “Wild About Music” youth education and scholarship programs.

Sponsors

Here, you can view a full list of our generous sponsors, who, through their donations, have helped bring the Glacier Symphony & Chorale to the Flathead Valley.

Looking to become a corporate sponsor? All of the information can be found here. Or, contact Executive Director Alan Satterlee at 406-257-3241, or by email at asatterlee@glaciersymphonychorale.org.

Raffle

Support the GSC by purchasing a ticket in their annual raffle. The prizes are great and the odds are even greater. Tickets are $100 for one and $500 for 6 tickets (and with your $500 purchase, get 2 free tickets to the GS&C Messiah Concert, and a bottle of private labeled Festival Amadeus wine as a thank you). Only 1000 will be sold. The raffle runs from July through December of each year with Early-Bird drawings throughout the raffle giving you a chance to win $500 “instant prizes” with the winning stub going back into the pot for the final drawing in December. So this is actually 6 raffles built into one and you can win over and over! We have never sold more than 750 tickets so the odds are great and even better if you purchase early! You can convert your $500 early instant prizes into 6 more raffle tickets if you prefer. Click here to download the 2010 Raffle Order Form.

Fundraising & Donations

There are numerous ways you can get involved with the Glacier Symphony & Chorale, including donations, purchasing tickets in our Annual Raffle, becoming a Corporate Sponsor, advertising in our program book, and much more!

Legacy Giving

Don’t have disposable cash or assets now to give to the GSC? Consider making a bequest or other “Planned Gift” to create a legacy of music for northwestern Montana.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many volunteer opportunities for a range of interests, including concert volunteers, the League of the Glacier Symphony & Chorale, office volunteers, and buildings and grounds volunteers. Our volunteers enjoy special perks for sharing their time and energy with us!

Montana is a Symphony

A portion of the proceeds of the plate go to the Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras and helps to fund their outreach program. The outreach program is implemented by all member orchestras including the Glacier Symphony and Chorale. The funds help us to provide free concerts in the community for 5th and 6th graders and other music students featuring our internationally famous guest artists. For more information, please visit the Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras.
